What Custom Made Options Are There?

We offer Custom made designs on leather (faux) jackets and denim jackets. We can also personalise anything - for example by putting your initials onto an item. If you have a pre-owned item such as an existing jacket or a pair of trainers for example that you would like us to customise, please do still get in touch as we can pretty much customise anything! We work with different materials and textures to create our pieces, so we use anything from paint or fabric & embellishment to create the bespoke designs. You can mix and match as many of these different medias as you like within your design to give it a more eye-catching and dimensional edge.

WHAT JACKETS DO YOU USE?

Denim: The denim jackets we use Grade A* vintage denim. We mainly use Levi’s branded jackets (unless otherwise requested) as they are a reliable brand and the items are of good quality and durability. As they are vintage, each and every jacket is slightly different from the next, but each colour-wash is very similar.

Leather: All our leather jackets are new and are PU (faux) leather. We don’t use real leather - our brand doesn’t believe in animal cruelty! It is also worth noting that our branded patches (labels) are also PU (faux) leather and cruelty free.

* Grade A vintage means that the items are of the highest vintage quality and in great condition (nearly new), but please be aware this means they could come with a few teeny tiny imperfections as they are not brand new. We do not offer a refund if a jacket has any imperfections due to its vintage nature.

WHAT IS THE SIZING LIKE?

For the denim jackets we use an over-sized, loose fitting style. Whilst the leather jackets are slightly more fitted and cropped in length. Please be aware of this when choosing your size. HOW DOES THE CUSTOM MADE-TO-ORDER PROCESS WORK?

1. ENQUIRY: Send us an enquiry using the Custom Enquiry form found on the Custom page of our website. Include in the form as much detail as possible about what you are after. Photos are great too so we can see exactly what you are looking for- please attach them if you have something specific in mind.

If you are unsure of exactly what you are after, but have an initial idea - then please still get in touch! As our designer can work with you to inspire a bespoke design. If needed, we can send you a digital mood board full of inspiration for you to then choose a design or idea from.

2. DESIGN: Once your enquiry is understood, our designer will send you a final digital template of your chosen design. We make any amendments on the digital design and then when you are happy we take payment before proceeding to production.

3. PRODUCTION: If you’re happy with the final design, then that’s it! Once you have paid we will start producing your bespoke, kick-ass, one of a kind REDFOX jacket!

* Please note that we will not directly copy a design from another company or from an image that you’ve sent us. At REDFOX we do not wish to copy or infringe on another person/brands creativity. However, when you send us an image or design idea that you want, we will use this as inspiration to then make our own unique design for you, whilst still trying to keep it as near to what you want as possible. This way you also get your own bespoke piece that no-one else will have!

HOW DO I GET MY OWN ITEM CUSTOMISED?

If for example you have a bag/ pair of shoes/ garment that you want customised- we can do this but each item is different as to what media we can apply to it. We can paint or embellish onto most things - however the embroidery side of embellishment is trickier. The best way to go about this and find out what we can for you is just to get in touch! Drop us an enquiry through the ‘Custom Enquiry’ option located on the Custom page of our website.

CAN I RETURN A CUSTOM ITEM?

Any custom or personalised items that are made bespoke to you are non-refundable. A custom made order means it is being designed, produced and made specifically for you and customised to your own bespoke design. For these reasons we do not accept refunds due to the nature of this type garment.

HOW MUCH DOES A CUSTOM MADE JACKET COST?

Once you have sent us an enquiry and we understand what you are after, we will send you a quote for the cost. If you are happy, then we will continue to the final phase of the custom process and make you a final design template. We take full payment before starting any production of the item.

Prices for Custom Made jackets: Womens/ Mens start from £170 upwards. Kids are £65 upwards. All pricing is totally variable with every order and totally dependent on what you may be after. All our designs are handmade so costs can vary due to many factors such as: how simple or complex your design may be, the workload involved, or what materials or media will be used etc. Personalising of your pre-owned items may cost less as you are not purchasing the stock through us. The best way to know? Send us an enquiry!

WHAT IS THE TIMEFRAME FOR CUSTOM PIECES?

Once you have completed the enquiry and design phases, and we have taken payment, we start work on your order. From this point please allow up to 3 weeks for production and 1 week for receipt of your item. (All our items are handmade bespoke pieces and are not mass produced by machines!) However this timeframe is all totally relative to the workload within each individual order, as some items with a simplistic design may be turned around much quicker.

Please appreciate we cannot spend time with our resources if a customer isn’t fully committed. If we do not hear back from you within 1 week during the enquiry or design phases, we will automatically assume that you do not wish to go ahead with your order and your order will be cancelled. So if you need longer for a decision- please let us know! If you wish to dis-continue your order at any point before payment and production phases, then please inform us as soon as possible.

WHAT ARE THE WASHING AND HANDLING GUIDELINES?

All custom and bespoke garments have been passionately made by our talented creatives, so please follow the washing and handling guidelines carefully to ensure the longevity of your garment. We do not except refunds for items that have not been looked after properly, have not followed the washing or handling instructions, or due to general wear and tear.

WASHING: We advise that you preferably wipe clean affected areas only with a damp cloth. Should you need to clean further then hand wash only on a cold wash. Try to avoid soaking detailed or motif areas. All garments are water sealed but consistent washing will cause the design to fade or loose quality. Do not use bleach. Do not tumble dry, hang dry only. Do not dry clean. Do not wring.

HANDLING: We advise not to iron our jackets, please hang dry. Should you feel the need to then please iron all REDFOX COLLECTIVE garments (including branded t-shirts) on the inside only. Do not iron on the outside, this will cause damage to materials, motifs and designs. Do not steam. We do not offer refunds for damage caused from ironing incorrectly.
